The experience

A ladder that rewards consistency

Every Thursday at 7:30pm, sixty-four players take their seats on the level-two stage for a three-hour scored session. Points count toward the season ladder — one bad night won't end you, but four good ones can put you in the final sixteen.

Seeding uses your first three weeks, so newcomers bracket against players at their own level instead of being fed to veterans. Finals run under lights on the stage with live scoring, commentary and a crowd that genuinely cares.

What makes it different

How the series works

Seeded brackets

Your first three weeks set a seed score. From week four you compete against players at your level — fair fights all the way down.

Live scoring

Overhead boards track every session in real time. Friends can follow your run from the members' bar.

Real prizes

Weekly winners take $200 in club credit; the season final pays $5,000, $3,000 and $1,500 across the podium plus prizes to sixteenth.

Streamed finals

The final sixteen play under lights with commentary — streamed to the members' area and replayed on Sundays.

"My first season I finished forty-first. Second season, ninth. The ladder is designed to be climbed — that's the point."

Questions

About this service

No — seeding means beginners face beginners. The first three weeks are effectively a grading period, and honestly, most new players find tournament nights the fastest way to improve.
Up to three missed weeks cost you nothing but the points that night would have earned. More than three and you fall out of final contention, though you can keep playing.
Tournament machines are serviced and tuned to identical settings on the afternoon of each event — the technician's sheet is posted at the stage for anyone to inspect.
No — the final is seeded from the season ladder. But the Autumn and Winter seasons each have their own finals, so there's always another bracket forming.

Registrations close Wednesday
